Controller, Accounting, Financial Reporting

Vicar’s Landing is seeking an experienced Controller to manage and oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role leads the accounting team, ensures accurate financial records, supports budgeting and audits, and provides meaningful financial insight to leadership and department heads.

• Oversee monthly financial close, reporting, and general ledger accuracy
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports
• Supervise and develop accounting staff while maintaining internal controls
• Support annual audits, year‑end close, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Assist with capital project accounting, budgets, and financial analysis
• Maintain accounting systems, reporting processes, and financial documentation
• Provide financial guidance and reporting support to department leaders

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting
• Demonstrated leadership experience in accounting or finance
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail

• CPA
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or nonprofit accounting
