Part-Time Art Instructor – Ponte Vedra , FL

Location: Children’s Art Classes – Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

Start Date: Immediately

Pay: $30-35/hr for teaching depending on experience level, plus 20/hr paid prep time. Salary position may be an option.

We are currently accepting applications to fill our Part Time Art Instructor position. We are looking for a certified art teacher with a minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience to lead some of our camps this summer and take on classes for our fall curriculum.

All supplies and a full, structured curriculum are provided.

Core classes are small and capped at 13 students per class.

• Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or a BFA (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of in‑classroom teaching experience
• Curriculum delivery experience
• Strong classroom management skills

• Passion for teaching and inspiring young artists—from littles to teens
• A team player who cares about students, quality of education, coworkers, the community, and our school’s success
• Effective and exceptional classroom management and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities
• Integrity, transparency, and honest communication—please do not misrepresent yourself

• Must be able to work week nights during the school year, Saturdays and 4-6 weeks in summer.
• Teacher may fill in for planned absences or emergencies
• Willingness to help cover summer camps, special events, open houses, and birthday parties
