Do you bring out the star in your students? Taylor Robinson Music’s motto is “Learn to Play From the Heart”, and we are looking for private music instructors who share this philosophy.

We strive to make music lessons accessible and affordable, believing that music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place. We are hiring private music instructors, particularly for violin. While we do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio in the Ponte Vedra Beach area, we have students needing teachers ASAP.

Lessons may occur in students’ homes, your own home or studio, or via webcam. Although webcam requests are a small portion of our student base, most students prefer in‑person lessons, so we need local instructors who can host students and/or travel within the Ponte Vedra Beach area.

We offer independent contractor compensation of $20‑$30 per hour, depending on travel time, experience/education, and student retention rate. You have the freedom to set your own schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans. Advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing are handled by us, so you can focus on the music.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct private violin lessons in a variety of settings (in‑person or via webcam).
• Design and manage your own curriculum and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with our office, maintaining professionalism and punctuality.
• Apply COVID‑19 safety protocols: wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Formal music training not mandatory, but a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills and organization.
• Ability to work independently as a contractor.
• Willingness to travel within the Ponte Vedra Beach, FL area.
