Job Description:We’re looking for a detail-oriented, Excel-savvy Financial Analyst to join our Finance. This role is entry level and ideal for someone who is highly analytical, organized, and excited about learning the inner workings of financial operations in a fast-growing company.
You will support the Director of Finance in building and maintaining client invoices, managing product-level reporting, and ensuring data integrity across internal financial models. This role is highly executional and requires someone comfortable working with large datasets, cross-functional input, and tight deadlines.
You’ll also interact with corporate leadership and operational teams to support recurring reporting and provide ad hoc analytical support as needed. Accuracy, responsiveness, and ownership will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and update dynamic Excel-based financial models used to generate invoices and track revenue
- Support monthly invoicing cycles: organize data, validate inputs, and help ensure invoices go out accurately and on time
- Perform product-level and client-level revenue analysis across multiple business lines
- Analyze and explain month-over-month variances in revenue and margin to support leadership reporting and forecasting
- Assist in maintaining weekly and monthly financial reports, ensuring inputs tie out across sources
- Create and manage recurring and ad hoc reporting deliverables for Finance, Sales, and Client Ops
- Support the Finance Director in identifying revenue trends, discrepancies, and growth opportunities
- Organize and clean large data exports from various systems for accurate reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 0–3 years of experience in a financial analyst, FP&A, accounting, or business operations role (internships and school projects included)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and pivot tables
- Comfort working with large datasets across multiple tabs and models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to Google Sheets
- Familiarity with Quick Books Online or other accounting software
- Understanding of accounting concepts such as Accruals and revenue recognition, Accounts receivable (A/R) aging and invoice lifecycle, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Gross Profit (GP).
