Position: CNA- Part-Time (Nights)
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Ponte Vedra Beach, FL | Onsite About This Role At Vicar's Landing, our Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by providing compassionate, person-centered care. As a CNA, you'll support residents with daily living activities, monitor their well-being, and contribute to a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment. Working closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals, you'll help ensure residents receive the care and attention they deserve while maintaining their dignity and independence.

What You'll DoProvide routine nursing care and assistance in accordance with residents' individualized care plans.

Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Support activities of daily living while promoting residents' comfort, safety, and independence.

Observe, document, and communicate changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.

Complete required documentation accurately in electronic medical records and daily flow sheets.

Assist with meal service and other resident support activities as needed.

Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment consistent with healthcare standards.

Participate in training, in-services, and team meetings to support continuous learning and quality care.

Skills You Need Must Have Skills Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Current CPR certification.

Strong compassion, patience, and commitment to resident-centered care.

Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.

Ability to accurately document care and follow established procedures.

Strong attention to detail and professionalism.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team.

Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as required, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations

Nice to Have Skills Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or senior living.

Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Experience supporting residents with varying physical and cognitive needs.

Education:

Active CNA certification required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
