The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking multiple Line Cooks. We offer fantastic benefits and rewards, including lunch daily while n an outstanding team in our top of the line facilities and venues beachside and in our clubhouse.

Our full-time team thirty (30+ hours) is eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, disability and accident insurance the first month following sixty (60) days of employment. Skills

Required
  • Experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to follow recipes and prepare dishes according to menu specifications
  • Experience with various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and frying
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple orders at once
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
