Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service.

In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal's values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

  • Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
  • Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or building conditions while assisting with badge checks, package observations, and other security‑related duties that support daily property operations.
  • Report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts, and follow post orders and site‑specific guidelines while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements
  • Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applications with criminal histories considered per applicable laws.
  • Drug screen required as permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements subject to state or local laws; may be required prior to employment.
  • Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
