Municipal Civil Engineer

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Municipal Civil Engineer in one of the posting locations below. In this role, you will be focused on the planning, design, and management of various civil engineering projects including water, wastewater, and stormwater for local and government agencies. • Manage, support and build relationships with clients and agencies
• Work on a variety of municipal projects related to water, sewer, and streets
• Conduct field inspections, measurements, and calculations
• Perform condition assessments
• Prepare and develop construction and design documents and plans
• Manage projects and programs from inception to completion

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 2–5 years of civil engineering experience
• FE or PE certification, or expected to be obtained
• Experience with IDOT, MFT, and local agency projects
• Understanding of working with state and local authorities
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D
• Ability to work in both the office and the field for construction engineering and observation
• Management, communication, and organization skills

$70,000 - $90,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
