Manufacturing Process Engineer

Position Overview

This onsite Manufacturing Process Engineer role is responsible for driving manufacturing process improvement and validation while providing daily support to quality and operations teams. The position combines office-based analysis and design work with hands‑on time in the shop floor and lab, troubleshooting manufacturing processes and validating prototypes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive manufacturing process improvement and validation initiatives.
  • Provide daily support to quality and operations teams.
  • Spend approximately 30% of time in the office on process change notices (PCNs), test reporting, prototype design, and manufacturing process analysis.
  • Spend approximately 70% of time on the shop floor and in the lab troubleshooting manufacturing processes and validating prototypes.
  • Partner with quality and production engineering teams to validate new processes, PCNs, and related initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5-7 years of relevant experience, required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
  • Ability to produce sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Strong creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and analytical/problem-solving ability.
  • Team player with strong attention to detail.
  • Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas.

Salary expectations: $70,000 - 75,000 annually
