The Residential Home Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of their assigned CILA residence. This includes coordinating the responsibilities of the Residential Trainers and assuring the implementation of program training objectives for each individual outlined in the Individual Service Plans.

- Actively participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team in the development of the Implementation strategy.
- Assist in scheduling staff to cover shifts at assigned CILA location.
- Assist the Director of Residential Operations and the Manager of Residential Services in hiring appropriate staff for the home.
- Supervise Residential Trainers who work within the assigned CILA home.
- Monitor the collection of daily records.
- Coordinate daily routines, assuring that daily living activities in the home are completed appropriately. This includes self-care activities, meal planning, cooking, cleaning, shopping and regular use of leisure time.
- Be alert to safety/medical needs of individuals, provide first aid and contact supervisor.
- Complete appropriate incident/injury, critical incident, seizure reports within time frame directed by supervisor.
- Communicate regularly with the QIDP/Manager of Residential Services regarding behavioral or physical issues or problems occurring in the home. Notify the Health Services Manager when appropriate.
- Assure the CILA home operates in a safe and healthy manner.
- Assure that necessary chores related to the routine care and maintenance of the home are completed.
- Assist each resident in managing their money appropriately. Assist residents in paying their monthly bills and accurately recording all checkbook transactions. Monitor cash spending to assure funds are being used appropriately. Record and compile a monthly report of all spending for each resident with accompanying receipts, and complete necessary link card/Medicaid paperwork.
- Monitor the general maintenance of the home assuring that it is equipped with necessary furnishings and appliances are in good working order.
- Order and pick up medications and work with the Health Services Manager to assure medication management complies with Rule 116.
- Accompany residents to doctor appointments and assure necessary documentation is completed for medical records and Medicare transportation reimbursement.
- Assure grocery shopping and supply shopping are completed for each home in compliance with Rule 115.
- Assist residents in menu plans.
- Schedule and coordinate special activities and family visits for persons residing in each home.
- Responsible for attending trainings to meet annual requirements:
First Aid, CPR, CPI, Safety and OIG. - Attend agency and house meetings regularly.
- Participate in on-call rotation to find coverage for call-ins, assist on duty staff and respond to crisis situations.
- Responsible for accurately completing timecards and approving them by the deadline.
- Respect persons served and promote a positive image of persons with disabilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
