Match Assembly - 3rd Shift - Supplemental

Job Summary

As a Match Bench Assembler at Caterpillar Pontiac, you will continuously improve process efficiency by sorting engine components and checking for defects.

• Perform a variety of functions to prepare components for shipment.
• Perform a variety of manual and/or machine repetitive functions, including the processing of parts, materials, equipment, supplies, etc. through various stages of manufacturing.

• A minimum of 3 months of experience working in a manufacturing or engine maintenance role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written instructions (e.g., schematics, standard work, and/or blueprints).
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

• 3rd shift:
  Sunday – Thursday 11:00PM – 7:00AM.
• Starting pay is $20.40 per hour.
• $1.00 an hour night shift premium.
• Training is completed on 1st shift Monday – Friday.
• Positions start as supplemental (36 or more hours per week with no holiday pay and limited benefits).
