Pay range: $37.05 - $54.54 per hour. Actual pay based on years of licensure. Position is hourly.

The Primary Charge assists in overseeing and directing nursing personnel who provide patient care services on assigned shifts. The role ensures safe, high‑quality patient care, enhances the patient/family experience, and provides effective leadership to support the organization’s objectives. Responsibilities include determining priorities, preparing daily work assignments, and serving as a resource person for unit personnel to resolve operational and patient care problems.

• Required qualifications:
  • Education:
    
    Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, obtained within 3 years of hire date.
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    
    RN (Registered Nurse), BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association).
  • Experience:
    
    Minimum 2 years on the unit or a similar unit.
  • Skills/knowledge:
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft software; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; detail‑oriented.
