As a Metrology Technician, you will ensure the precision and reliability of critical instrumentation through expert calibration, diagnostic repair, and rigorous quality testing. You will play a vital role in maintaining operational standards by delivering accurate data and technical support to ensure equipment performance meets exact specifications.

Responsibilities- Execute precise calibration and diagnostic repairs on a wide range of instruments to ensure operational accuracy.
- Interpret complex testing specifications and quality manuals to establish reliable calibration protocols.
- Configure and operate advanced test equipment, adjusting variables such as pressure, current, and temperature to meet performance benchmarks.
- Analyze performance data and meter readings to identify functional defects and implement corrective adjustments.
- Document all findings through detailed calibration certificates and service reports to maintain compliance and traceability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and contribute to the development of new calibration procedures.
- Maintain database integrity and assist in the continuous improvement of quality initiatives and service standards.
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four or more years of hands-on experience in instrument calibration or technical maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and complex procedure documentation.
- Strong mathematical aptitude, including geometry, trigonometry, and statistical inference.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in standardized environments.
- Experience with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 quality management standards.
- Knowledge of GD&T, APQP, and root cause analysis methodologies like 5 Why.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
