Dispatcher
The Dispatcher schedules drivers and coordinates the safe and efficient transportation of individuals served by the agency.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in an office setting with low to moderate noise levels. The employee may occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions and rarely work around machinery and/or moving parts.
The employee will frequently sitting and/or walking. High use of technology, such as computer and phone are expected.

The employee is occasionally required to stand; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. This job requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. It requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
This job requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required for this position, along with a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Knowledge of Ford and Iroquois County streets business locations
- Supervisory experience and good organizational skills are preferred.
