As Project Manager, you are responsible for the successful execution of construction work, in accordance with contractual obligations, internal policies, and The Limbach Way.
Job Duties- Utilize a project management information control system to govern the project lifecycle.
- Manage all aspects of the customer relationship to secure future repeat business.
- Protect the interests and legal rights of the Company via thorough documentation and timely communication with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal parties.
- Break down cost estimates into manageable, measurable segments for accurate cost projections.
- Issue purchase orders to equipment providers and material suppliers following the Company’s purchasing guidelines and limits of authority.
- Develop a detailed and complete scope of work for contracts issued to subcontractors.
- Identify cost impacts resulting from changes to the project scope and construction schedule.
- Pursue compensation for resulting impacts in compliance with contract terms and project standards to maximize profitability.
- Facilitate the design of labor plans and manpower loading schedules, produce target reports for productivity, maintain progress drawings, and accurately track and report installation productivities.
- Forecast and verify the costs, revenue, and gross profit of projects monthly to accurately portray the expected financial outcome to key stakeholders.
- Monitor project cash flow to maintain a consistently positive bottom line via appropriate schedule of values, maximized monthly billing, and timely payment collections.
- Oversee engineering/commissioning resources and subcontractor work to capitalize on productivity.
- Effectively manage job completion, final acceptance, and the warranty period to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a construction‑related field or equivalent.
- 3+ years of industry‑specific experience.
- In‑depth knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes and construction laws.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in effective collaboration, communication, and negotiation.
- Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Completion of OSHA’s 30‑hour Construction Training Course.
- Valid driver’s license and compliant driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
- Previous people‑management experience.
- 5+ years of industry‑specific experience.
- Maintain appropriate Company confidentiality at all times.

- This position operates primarily in an office environment, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and printers.
- Work tasks may occasionally require travel to local job sites, exposing the incumbent to conditions typical of a construction site.
- Regularly required to talk, hear, perform repetitive motions, and possess appropriate visual acuity and manual dexterity.
- Light work position: possible exertion of up to twenty (20) pounds of force occasionally, up to ten (10) pounds frequently, or negligible force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
