Notre Dame Prep is seeking a dedicated Athletic Administrative Assistant to perform a wide range of office support activities that facilitate the efficient operations of the athletic department in alignment with the school’s mission. Reporting directly to the Athletic Director, this 12‑month, non‑exempt role serves as the primary point of contact for student‑athletes and coaches, managing high‑volume communications and navigating a fast‑paced professional environment.
Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of office support activities for the athletic department.
- Maintain filing systems for physicals and eligibility forms.
- Assist with confirmation of athletic contests.
- Coordinate with the transportation office for away games.
- Create game programs.
- Manage end‑of‑season awards.
- Oversee equipment inventories.
- Act as the primary point of contact for student‑athletes and coaches, managing high‑volume communications.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in youth, high school, collegiate, or professional athletics.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Suites.
- Working knowledge of athletic operating software such as Schedule Star and Arbiter.
- Firm understanding of MHSAA, CYO, and NFHS eligibility standards.
- Availability to work some nights and weekends.
The successful candidate must be available to start by July 1, 2026 or earlier.
