Instructional Designer II

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instructional Designer II to join our Corporate Training team. In this role, you will design, develop, and continuously improve high-quality learning experiences that drive performance and support business objectives. You will partner closely with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify training needs, translate them into impactful learning solutions, and measure effectiveness using established instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE and Kirkpatrick.

The instructional designer will be expected to create and maintain training material and process documentation using programs within Microsoft suite such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. The designer we're looking for should be able to learn new software easily, leverage AI-related tools, communicate at a high level, and possess advanced writing and computer skills.

What You Will Be Doing

Partner with training team members and business stakeholders to identify learning needs and recommend effective training solutions

Design and develop a variety of learning assets, including:

  • Instructor-led training (ILT) materials
  • eLearning modules
  • Job aids and quick reference guides
  • Participant guides and presentations

Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create engaging and effective training experiences

Develop assessments to evaluate knowledge retention, learner engagement, and training effectiveness

Collect and analyze feedback and performance data to continuously improve learning programs

Support communication efforts such as training announcements, surveys, and learner outreach

Analyze metrics and business outcomes to identify additional training opportunities and gaps

Stay current on emerging tools, technologies, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance learning design

Serve as a backup facilitator for training sessions (Initial, Ongoing, and Continuous Improvement), as needed

What We Need From You

Must Have Qualifications:

1+ year of professional experience in instructional design or a related field

Proven experience designing and developing a variety of training materials and learning solutions

Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business leaders

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach

Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies, including AI-driven solutions

Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or equivalent training experience

Ability to work onsite as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a training or facilitation role
  • Working knowledge of instructional design methodologies (ADDIE)
  • Familiarity with evaluation frameworks such as Kirkpatrick Model
  • Experience with eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond)
  • Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe In Design
