Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for an Instrument Technician for their Pontiac, MI location.
Responsibilities- Focused on general instrumentation – in long digital data collection, fuel systems, flow meters, temperature data collection
- MTS systems (test systems) hydraulic test stands
- Doing preventative maintenance (half is the annual calibration and the other half is to verify that everything is operating correctly), test cells, and troubleshooting
- Interaction level with the team – emissions team is around 7-8 people
- Work environment – test lab, inside, climate controlled, will have to complete a safety training
- Education:
High School Diploma - Prefer technical degree (example - engineering)
- At least 2-4 years’ experience
- Anything related to maintenance/testing – testing environment experience (handling calibrated stuff, delicate/must be treated a certain way) working in a similar environment
- Ability to do problem solving
- Good communication
