Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred but not required Systems,
Mechanical, or Electrical
5+ years of experience in safety principles
Experience in conducting system safety analysis including fault tree
creation, system hazard analysis, FMEA and FMECA generation, reliability
disciplines, and failure investigations
Knowledge and practice using MIL-STD-882, DI-SAFT-80102, and/or SAE ARP
4761
Familiarity with MIL-STD-1629, DI-SESS-81495, SAE ARP
5580 (SAE ARP
4754)
and/or ASTM F3230
Construction of fault analysis per SAE ARP
926 or similar
Experience in completing Reliability Engineering principles including Markov
analysis, Weibull analysis (fleet risk assessment), reliability allocations and
predictions, maintainability procedures, LORA (Level of Repair Analysis), Etc.
Possess a working knowledge of gas turbine engines with an intermediate to
advanced knowledge of turbo machinery failure modes
Comprehension of electro-mechanical components and Electrical and Mechanical
Engineering principles
Ability to assess system designs for maintainability and develop work
instructions
Knowledge of gas turbine engine hardware and associated manufacturing
techniques
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools
U. S. citizenship is required
Position may require the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security
Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government
security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to
