Job SummaryThe Executive Test role at Challenge Mfg. Company, LLC involves leading and overseeing all aspects of product testing, ensuring the highest quality and reliability standards for our manufacturing processes and outputs.
Job Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive testing strategies and protocols for all products and manufacturing stages.
- Lead and mentor a team of test engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to integrate testing throughout the product lifecycle.
- Design and execute complex test plans, including functional, performance, durability, and compliance testing.
- Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and recommend corrective actions and design improvements.
- Select, procure, and maintain appropriate testing equipment and software.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to testing and quality.
- Prepare detailed test reports and present findings to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Manage testing budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred) or a related technical field. Master’s degree highly desirable.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product testing, quality assurance, or a related field within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven expertise in various testing methodologies, tools, and equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven approach.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
- Experience with statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is a plus.
- Proficiency in test automation software and data analysis tools.
