YOUR NEXT MISSION STARTS HERE!
Are you ready to take your aerodynamic expertise beyond simulations and make a direct impact on cutting-edge turbine engines for both commercial and defense applications?
We are seeking a Lead Aerodynamics Engineer who thrives at the intersection of theory and real-world engineering. In this role, you won’t just run models — you’ll own the aerodynamic performance from concept through production, working side-by-side with manufacturing experts, testing teams, and engineering leaders to bring revolutionary gas turbine components to life.
This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to shape the next generation of turbine technologies and mentor the engineers who will follow in your footsteps.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and Analyze: Deliver aerodynamic designs and performance analyses for various turbo machinery flow path components.
- Test and Validate: Plan and support component and full-engine test programs, mapping performance and system behavior in real-world environments.
- Production Support: Provide quick, innovative solutions for production issues, cost-reduction initiatives, and hardware performance improvements.
- Mentor Future Leaders: Train and develop early-career engineers, passing on critical design and analysis skills.
- Innovate and Improve: Create and refine analytical methods, drive design innovation, and help enhance our internal tools and processes.
- Communicate with Impact: Present technical findings and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders and external customers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s (Degrees in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering preferred) + 7 years of experience (or) Master’s + 5 years of experience (or) PhD + 3 years of experience
- Deep knowledge of compressor aerodynamic principles, turbo machinery flow paths, and real-world manufacturing constraints
- Proficiency with CFD tools (Fluent, Fine/Turbo, AXCENT, Turbogrid, Automesh, etc.)
- Familiarity with optimization software (iSight, HEEDS, mode Frontier)
- Hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle — design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and production support
- Strong documentation, technical writing, and knowledge retention practices
- Ability to lead independently and drive multiple complex projects simultaneously
- U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance eligibility
WHY JOIN US?
- True Ownership: Lead projects across every stage — from design to flight.
- Innovation Culture: We encourage creativity, calculated risk-taking, and deep technical exploration.
- Impactful Work: Your designs will directly influence critical commercial and defense programs.
- Career Growth: High visibility, strong mentoring opportunities, and the chance to shape our next generation of engineers.
