Mechanical Technician

Our client, a leading automotive and engineering organization, is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Operations team supporting Engineering, Testing, and Manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

$34.64 - $39.59 per hour

On-Site: 5 Days per Week.

• 2nd Shift
  • Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift
  • Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM

• Review and approve engineering drawings, sketches, and fabrication documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
• Support project planning by interpreting blueprints, specifications, and testing requirements.
• Supervise and perform testing of mechanical systems, components, and complete units under operational conditions.
• Analyze test results and modify equipment to ensure compliance with design and performance specifications.
• Fabricate, assemble, and improve mechanical components and equipment to support engineering projects.

• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or a related technical field.
• 8-10 years of experience in mechanical testing, fabrication, manufacturing, or engineering support.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with engineering software, technical drawings, and related computer applications.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
