The X Center Host serves as the primary ambassador for M1 Concourse's X Center experience and is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional and memorable first impression for guests. This position manages guest arrivals, reservations, admissions, simulator check-ins, retail transactions and general guest inquiries while delivering an elevated hospitality experience consistent with the M1 Concourse brand. The Host supports the day-to-day operation of the X Center reception area and cross-trains within the X Center Store to provide retail support during lower-volume periods.
This role requires exceptional customer service, attention to detail, professionalism and the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced entertainment and hospitality environment. The X Center Host shall represent M1 Concourse with the highest level of professionalism and decorum.
- Assists guests with merchandise selection and product information.
- Assists guests with venue information, event schedules, amenities and directions.
- Assists with opening and closing procedures for reception and retail operations.
- Collaborates with Team Members to ensure superior guest experiences.
- Cross-trains and provides operational support within the X Center Store as business needs require.
- Ensures adherence to company policies, operational procedures and safety requirements.
- Greets guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Maintains a guest-first mindset and promotes a culture of hospitality and service excellence.
- Maintains accurate records of daily transactions and guest activity.
- Maintains an organized, clean and visually appealing retail sales floor.
- Maintains awareness of current promotions, events, memberships and offerings.
- Maintains cleanliness and presentation standards throughout guest-facing areas.
- Participates in inventory counts, merchandising displays, stock replenishment and product organization.
- Processes admissions, simulator reservations, retail purchases and other transactions through POS systems.
- Responds professionally and promptly to guest questions, concerns and service requests.
- Supports simulator scheduling and guest flow management.
- Supports special events, corporate functions, hospitality experiences and promotional activities.
- Verifies reservations, memberships, admissions and simulator bookings.
- Performs all other duties as may be required and assigned.
