Advent Home Medical is currently seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist for our Pontiac, MI location. We are dedicated to supporting the care of patients with chronic respiratory diseases that require mechanical ventilation in the home. Our goal is to safely transition the patient from the hospital setting to their home while improving quality of life. Therapists are assigned patients to manage and assess during periodic visits.

The potential candidate must be able to educate and administer all aspects of respiratory therapy including mechanical ventilation. Participate in training and transitioning of the patient from a facility to the home setting. Comply with all policies and standards of safety and infection control. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a courteous and customer-focused manner in accordance with Advent Home Medical's standards of practice.

• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Licensed through the state of Michigan as a Respiratory Therapist
• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
• Knowledge of modern principles, methods, materials, and equipment
• Knowledge of possible hazards to patients and appropriate precautions
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to manage records, complete necessary paperwork, and perform patient assessments
• 1-2 years experience
• Ability to perform data entry of PHI into the company software
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is a plus

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year + $5000 Sign on Bonus
