Job Description:
This role is responsible for securing enterprise information by defining security requirements and planning, implementing, and testing security systems. The position develops and maintains security standards, policies, and procedures while evaluating network and security technologies to determine the most effective solutions. It includes defining requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and other security and network devices, as well as designing and managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including certification authorities, digital signatures, and related hardware and software.
The architect ensures adherence to industry standards across on prem, disaster recovery, and cloud environments, and contributes to team success by planning solution delivery, providing technical and procedural guidance, mentoring team members, and improving processes. A key focus of this role is application security, requiring hands on App Sec or Dev Sec Ops experience and a strong track record of supporting software development teams.
- • Proven background in application security (App Sec) or Dev Sec Ops .
- • Experience supporting software development teams in secure design and implementation.
- • Hands on experience planning, implementing, and testing enterprise security systems.
- • Strong understanding of network security technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, firewalls).
- • Experience designing and managing PKI, including CAs and digital signatures.
- • Familiarity with security standards across on prem, disaster recovery, and cloud environments.
- • Ability to develop security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
- • Experience mentoring or guiding technical teams on security best practices.
