ServiceNow Developer

As a Service Now Developer I you willdemonstratean ability to administer, develop, document, and technically support the Service Now platform.

You will have a solution-focused mindset and the ability to provide elite client service, training, and support to your teammates as well as clients throughout the organization.

Candidates must have the ability to excel in a fast-paced organization, provide excellent customer service, bewellwritten, and have a passion for the Service Now platform.

• Administration, development, documentation,and technical support of the Service Now platform

• Performingconfiguration and customization including, but not limited to:

• Workflow/flowadministration

• Performance analytics configuration

• Creating and maintaining
  
  SOAP/RESTintegrations

• Creating andmaintainingall script types

• Creating andmaintainingportal widgets

• Design, develop, and configure for the ITSM,ITAM,ITOM, and CMDBmodules

• Create new andmaintainexisting custom applications

• Review and refine designs for functionality andusability

• Regularly reviews testing scenarios and practices to ensureapplication performance and stability requirements are met

• Interacts with stakeholders from across the business

• Implement best practices and standards for the Service Now platform

• Produces andmaintainsdetailed system documentation including:

  • Designspecifications

  • Troubleshootingsteps

  • Deploymentsteps

  • Disaster recoverysteps

  • Technicalnotes

  • Testingsteps, etc.

Must Have:

• 4 years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of the Service Now platform

• Development experience with
  
  JavaScript, Angular
  
  JS, HTML, CSS, andXML

• Understanding the key technologies relevant to the Service Now integration solutions, including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS.

• System/Process Automation (Orchestration) experience

• Experience creating custom Integration Hub Spokes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• BS or BA degree in computer science, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have:

• Ability to develop quality documentation that clearly articulates solutions and the ability to perform demonstrations for clients

• Administration of a Service Now instance including the creation or modification of workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionary, catalogitemsand updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions

• ITIL Foundations 3.0 or higher

• Service Now Administrator Certification (Yokohamaor Higher)

• Service Now Developer Certification (Yokohamaor Higher)

• Strong understanding of Service Now ITSM and ITOM products

• Strong understanding of Service Now’s CSDM

• Understanding of Agile practices
