Senior Security Architect

Overview

Senior Security Architect secures enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; preparing security standards, policies, and procedures.

• Plan and implement security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; develop requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices.
• Design public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures, as well as hardware and software components; adhere to industry standards across on-premises, disaster recovery (DR), and cloud environments.
• Enhance security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
• Focus on application security with emphasis on app/security or Dev Sec Ops  experience and supporting software development teams.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant skills and competencies:
  Network Security, Network Hardware Configuration, Network Protocols, Networking Standards, Supervision, Conceptual Skills, Decision Making, Informing Others, Functional and Technical Skills, Dependability, Information Security Policies.

• Experience in application security, app/security, or Dev Sec Ops  with a track record of supporting software development teams.
• Strong ability to determine security requirements and translate them into secure system designs and processes.
• Experience with PKI, CAs, digital signatures, and related security architectures.
• Familiarity with security standards in on-prem, DR, and cloud environments.
• Ability to collaborate with security teams and provide mentorship and guidance.
