ServiceNow Developer

As a Service Now Developer you will demonstrate an ability to administer, develop, document, and technically support the Service Now platform. You will have a solution-focused mindset and be able to provide elite client service, training, and support to teammates and clients throughout the organization.

• Administration, development, documentation, and technical support of the Service Now platform
• Performing configuration and customization, including:
  • Workflow/flow administration
  • Performance analytics configuration
  • Creating and maintaining SOAP/REST integrations
  • Creating and maintaining all script types
  • Creating and maintaining portal widgets
  • Designing, developing, and configuring the ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and CMDB modules
  • Creating new and maintaining existing custom applications
  • Reviewing and refining designs for functionality and usability
  • Regularly reviewing testing scenarios and practices to ensure application performance and stability requirements are met
  • Interacting with stakeholders from across the business
  • Implementing best practices and standards for the Service Now platform
• Producing and maintaining detailed system documentation, including:
  • Design specifications
  • Troubleshooting steps
  • Deployment steps
  • Disaster recovery steps
  • Technical notes
  • Testing steps

• 4 years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of the Service Now platform
• Development experience with JavaScript, Angular
  
  JS, HTML, CSS, and XML
• Understanding of key technologies relevant to Service Now integration solutions, including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS
• Experience with System/Process Automation (Orchestration)
• Experience creating custom Integration Hub Spokes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• BS or BA degree in computer science, or equivalent experience

• Ability to develop quality documentation that clearly articulates solutions and the ability to perform demonstrations for clients
• Administration of a Service Now instance, including creation or modification of workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionary, catalog items, and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions
• ITIL Foundations 3.0 or higher
• Service Now Administrator Certification (Yokohama or higher)
• Service Now Developer Certification (Yokohama or higher)
• Strong understanding of Service Now ITSM and ITOM products
• Strong understanding of Service Now’s CSDM
• Understanding of Agile practices
