Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Dev Ops Engineer (Sec Dev Ops ) to join our team. This role plays a critical part in building, maintaining, and enforcing automated security guards within our CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between software development, IT operations, and Cyber Security, ensuring that software is delivered quickly without sacrificing compliance within the Dev Ops ecosystem.

This position is 100% on-site.

The Cyber Security Dev Ops Engineer (Sec Dev Ops ) will also:

  • Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade on-premises cloud infrastructure
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Helm charts for application deployment
  • Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks using Python
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Argo CD
  • Implement cloud and infrastructure security controls based on industry best practices
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, security hardening, and patch management
  • Configure and manage IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and certificate management
  • Integrate cybersecurity tools such as vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, SIEM, and compliance platforms
  • Deploy and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Open Search, Splunk, or similar).
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and security incidents
  • Collaborate with development, Dev Ops, networking, and security teams to deliver secure platform services
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, Dev Ops, or Platform Engineering
  • 3+ years of hands‑on Kubernetes administration in production environments
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.   • Strong experience with:
  • Terraform
  • Python scripting
  • Jenkins
  • Git
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker/Containerd).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPNs).
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and Git Ops methodologies
  • Knowledge of enterprise storage and virtualization platforms
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as:
  • Grafana
  • ELK/Open Search
  • Dynatrace
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools including:
  • Vulnerability Management (Tenable, Qualys, Nessus)
  • Secrets Management (Hashi Corp Vault or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • RBAC
  • Pod Security
  • Zero Trust principles
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Red Hat Open Shift, VMware Tanzu, or Rancher
  • Experience managing private cloud platforms such as VMware or Open Stack,
  • Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning

Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, or PCI DSS
