The Work You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you will:
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for mills and lathes
- Model and draw customer parts to support manufacturing
- Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies for efficient production
- Perform complete machine setups, touch-offs, and prove-outs
- Edit programs at the machine (G-code / M-code) as needed
- Run multiple machines and maintain production flow
- Collaborate with machinists to troubleshoot issues and improve cycle times
- Perform first-article and in-process inspection
- Maintain equipment and perform routine machine maintenance
- Ensure quality standards and production timelines are met

Machines, Controls & SoftwareYou’ll work with equipment such as:
- Machines: CNC mills and lathes (multi-axis turning and milling environments)
- Controls: Fanuc
- CAM Software: Top Solid’Cam (experience preferred)
- Programming: G-code / M-code
- Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments

What We’re Looking ForRequired:
- 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience
- Experience programming mills and lathes
- Strong understanding of setups, tooling selection, and offsets
- Ability to model parts and create drawings
- Experience with Fanuc controls
- Ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Mechanically inclined and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical shop duties
- Strong quality mindset and organizational skills
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience with Top Solid’Cam
- Multi-axis or mill-turn experience
- Experience in high-precision or production machining environments
