Seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Electrician to wire, troubleshoot, and support the assembly of custom test machines, electrical panels, and connectors. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, a strong problem-solver, and thrives both independently and in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Build & Wire: Assemble custom electrical panels, connectors, and wire testing machines according to blueprints.
- Test & Troubleshoot: Debug electrical systems and machine builds to ensure proper functionality; assist with startup and validation.
- Collaborate & Support: Partner with engineering to improve processes; provide occasional local travel/onsite customer service.
- Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Experience in electrical assembly, panel building, machine wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and assembly drawings.
- Proficient with use of assembly tools and testing equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer field service.
- Ability to commute daily to Pontiac, MI.
