Team Leader In Shipping & Receiving

The Team Leader in Shipping & Receiving will:
- Lead team members in tasks associated with the shipment/receipt of engines and engine components
- Train team members on policies and procedures, work duties, employee safety, etc.
- Administer employee performance reviews, hiring, promotion, and disciplinary actions
- Prioritize/assign shipping/receiving workload, including but not limited to priority (expedited) shipments, engine shipments, hardware shipments, STO's, and misdirected shipments
- Schedule overtime requirements as needed to support schedule requirements
- Order/maintain packaging materials necessary to support engine and engine component shipments
- Respond to CARD Actions as necessary
- Obtain and maintain Hazmat Certification (IATA and 49 CFR)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of one (1) year experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, or engineering –or- a minimum of four (4) years' experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, or engineering
- MS Office and ERP system knowledge is required; SAP preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
- Responsible for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company's Quality Policy
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
