CNC Machinist

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced CNC Machinist to work afternoon or night shifts (1 day shift open), helping to produce precision gas engine components. This role involves operating and setting up CNC equipment in a clean, organized, and team-focused manufacturing environment.

Full-time direct hire permanent role.

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, shapers, and manual machines
• Machine, grind, and test parts to engineering and customer specifications
• Inspect parts to ensure compliance with blueprints and manufacturing standards
• Visually check components for defects, burrs, or surface damage
• Maintain accurate part identification, records, and documentation
• Communicate shift handover information clearly
• Perform routine machine and equipment maintenance
• Keep the work area clean and organized, following manufacturing standards
• Support other related duties as needed

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of machining experience with lathes, mills, or grinders
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing specifications
• Understanding of GD&T fundamentals
• Experience with precision machining preferred
• Familiarity with aerospace materials is a plus

• Ability to work assigned shift:

  • 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM or

  • 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

• Lift to 50 lbs

• Push/pull up to 60 lbs

• Grip strength of 50 lbs

• Ability to reach above shoulder height

• Pay range: $25 – $37.50 per hour
