PRODUCTION COORDINATOR / KITTER
Contract Assignment
Pay: $22-25/hr pending experience
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Production Coordinator / Kitter to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Create production kits with required parts and instructions for next level assemblies
- Correctly labeling parts allowing the receiving party to quickly identify what’s in the kit
- Create shippers and deliver materials to shipping department for outside processing
- Ensures correct parts are kept in the appropriate quantities to support production and assembly requirements
- Identify and communicate all shortages/discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
- Process miscellaneous material transactions including location changes, scrap, cycle count adjustments, etc.
- May operate hand truck for delivery or picking of parts and supplies
- Strive to accomplish team goals following established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety standards and regulations
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a similar role with materials, stocking, or inventory is a plus
- Must be detailed oriented, self-starter, and able meet deadlines
- Ability to understand and follow a set of clear oral and/or written procedures without deviation
- Ability to interact with cross-functional disciplines; possess good customer skills
- Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
- US. Citizenship is required.
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
