Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU/Stepdown position in Michigan requiring an active MI RN license and ACLS certification.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital ICU and Intermediate Intensive Care (Stepdown) setting
- Cares for critically ill patients from adolescent to geriatric populations
- Handles a wide variety of cases including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical patients
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with 12-hour shifts
- Required to work every other weekend
- Frequent floating to Stepdown unit
- Responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering nursing care to ICU and Stepdown patients
- Supervises CNA/SNA, LPN, or other healthcare team members as assigned
- Expected to maintain professional nursing standards in all care provided
- Up to 5 days of requested time off will be considered
- No on-call responsibilities
- Physical copies of certifications may be required
- Active Michigan RN license required at the time of consideration
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required
- Completion of a skills checklist within one year of application for ICU RN
- Must not be a full-time McLaren employee within the past six months
