Full-Time position scheduled 36 hours per week - 12-hour shifts., with a weekend rotation and holiday commitment.

6 South is a 35-bed medical stepdown unit that cares for patients with a multitude of medical/neurological diagnoses, some requiring telemetry monitoring. Virtual nursing and camera monitoring are also offered on this unit. 6 South is an excellent unit to start your Nursing Career and prepare you for your future path/specialty area.
SUMMARYThe Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. Responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and environment. The RN assumes a leadership role in providing professional nursing care to patients within Trinity Oakland Hospital, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the continuum plan of care in collaboration with other members of the multidisciplinary team;
actively supports and participates in Shared Governance; and promotes the organizational commitment to customer service.
- Requires current Michigan Nursing License – Graduate Nurses invited to apply.
- Graduation from accredited nursing program.
- BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
