** Position Purpose*
* Functions as a member of the health care team under the direction of the RN. Utilizing a Patient Focused Care approach, provides sitting services to a specific group of patients within the Trinity Health System.

** Shifts Available:
** 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

** Status available:
** Full-time, Part-time, Contingent/PRN

_Every Other Weekend and 3 Holidays per year_   _required_   _for Full-time and Part-time team members._

* + Provides observation following the guidelines asdescribed during department specific orientation. Must ensure they are activelyparticipatingin adistraction free environment.

+ Reports patient care incidents and changes in the patient's condition to the RN ina timely fashion.

+ Provides patient care that reflects respect for patient's rights, dignity, values, culture preferences, andexpressedneeds and attention to providing comfort, relieving pain, and alleviating anxiety.

+ To ensuresafepatient care experience,incumbentmustremain with patient until hand-off occurs.
