Requirements
- Requirement for NPs: AGACNP or ACNP
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and engagement
- APPs:
Board certified in specialty prior to employment - Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
