Description6 South is a 35‑bed medical stepdown unit that cares for patients who have a multitude of medical/neurological diagnoses, some who require telemetry monitoring. Virtual nursing and camera monitoring are also offered on this unit. The unit is an excellent place to start a nursing career and prepare you for your future path/specialty area.
12‑hour shifts, rotating holidays & weekends.
Required Education / Licensure- Current Michigan Nursing License – Graduate nurses invited to apply.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- BSN degree preferred or written agreement to obtain a BSN within five years.
- BLS certification required.
