Description
Trinity Health Oakland is a Level 2 Trauma Center, with 15 operating rooms that average 35 cases per day. Our mission is to provide the highest‑quality care to every patient who requires a surgical intervention. We care for both inpatients and outpatients for elective, urgent, and emergent service lines including Acute Care Surgery, Colorectal, General Surgery, Cardio‑Thoracic, Orthopedics, Endocrinology, Neurosurgery, Urology, Gynecology, Oncology, Vascular, and off‑shift Endoscopy.
Our nursing staff is supported 24/7 by department‑based Anesthesiologists.
We are a Certified Joint Center of Excellence and a Robotic Center of Excellence.

SummaryThe Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. Responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
Required Education / Licensure / Experience- Requires current Michigan Nursing License
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years
- Prior Experience in Surgery
