Salary Range: $19.00 To $25.00 Annually
POSITION : Quality Technician
FUNCTION:
Inspects products/processes in the assembly area to ensure compliance with engineering drawing, company standards and customer requirements. Reports quality data for use in reporting and corrective action. Works to identify and eliminate defects. Responsible for ensuring only acceptable products are shipped to customers by using inspection skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of tractors and components.
- Identify, document, and report defects accurately using company quality systems.
- Inspect mechanical and hydraulic systems for proper installation and functionality.
- Perform pre-delivery and final quality inspections before product shipment.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Support containment activities and verification of corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate findings clearly.
- Ensure all quality inspections are completed safely and within production timelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and inspection processes.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years of mechanical assembly experience.
- Basic understanding of mechanical assemblies and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, and inspection standards.
- Comfortable using basic measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, torque wrenches, etc.).
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. - Strong observation skills with the ability to detect subtle abnormalities.
- Ability to distinguish between acceptable variation and true defects.
- Ownership mentality and willingness to stop defective products from reaching customers.
- Ability to prioritize multiple inspections while maintaining accuracy.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl around/underneath tractor.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with appropriate PPE.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
