Job Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and bend various sizes of pipe and tubing to required angle/length using pipe cutters and benders.
• Copper brazing and soldering.
• Thread and assemble black and steel pipe.
• Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications.
• Install valves, hangers, supports, and flanges in piping systems according to plans and applicable specifications.
• Repair leaks in all types of pipe systems.
• Assemble, install, and repair piping systems according to specifications and appropriate trade and building codes.
• Ensure attention to detail and follow safety standards.
• Work with other departments as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Industrial or Commercial Pipe fitting/Plumbing experience.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret pipe drawings.
• Working knowledge of Industrial/Commercial process heating and cooling systems.
• Possess the ability to work skillfully with both hands constantly.
• Must have the ability to independently lift and carry objects safely that weigh up to 20 pounds routinely, 50 pounds frequently, and 80 pounds occasionally.
