- Lead concrete projects effectively and efficiently
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities to your team that you’ll be working with on daily projects
- Train and develop your team
- Understanding design layouts and blueprints
- Ensure attention to detail and follow safety standards including completing daily pre‑task plans/risk assessments
- Monitor, and report daily work progress through written summaries and job site tickets with pictures
- 3-5 years’ experience in the commercial and industrial setting
- Ability to layout jobs from reading and interpreting blueprints
- Basic math & geometry knowledge– area, elevation, pitch
- Assemble engineered formwork systems
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Concrete placement and finishing
- Trenching & excavation – shoring, sloping, shielding and soil classification
- Calculate & order material
- Ability to work effectively with all personality types
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
- Self‑directed and can work independently
- Aerial lift and forklift experience required
- Overhead crane and mobile crane experience preferred
- Daily inspection and preventative maintenance of equipment
- Front end loader, skid steer and excavator experience preferred
- Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.
- Work in permit & non‑permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
- Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards
- Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
- Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
