Generalist, Client Services, SME, Institutional Banking Group

Business Function Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) clients, managing relationship continuity and satisfaction
• Identify and assess client financial needs, providing tailored banking solutions and product recommendations
• Coordinate delivery of banking services across multiple departments to ensure seamless client experience
• Process and facilitate client requests including account opening, facility applications, and transaction services
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor client portfolio performance and proactively identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
• Resolve client inquiries and escape complex issues to appropriate specialists or management
• Prepare client reports, proposals, and presentations to support business development initiatives
• Collaborate with credit, operations, and product teams to support client onboarding and ongoing servicing
• Ensure compliance with DBS policies, procedures, and regulatory standards in all client interactions

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in client services, relationship management, or institutional banking
• Strong understanding of SME banking products, services, and market dynamics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and banking systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
