Location: Talbot Green

Our client, a reputable franchise-approved repair centre in Talbot Green, is seeking a fully qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals looking to advance their career within a well-established family-run dealership group.

Benefits of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Salary ranging from £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Monthly performance bonus averaging around £400 (£4,800 annually)

  • 22 days annual holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 23, 24, and 25 days after 1, 3, and 5 years of service

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Ensuring faults are accurately diagnosed and reporting vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Service Manager
  • Adhering to quality procedures as specified by the manufacturer and our client
  • Maintaining high levels of workmanship and productivity in a busy franchise-approved environment
  • Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards
  • Assisting team members and supporting service department operations
  • Contributing towards achieving service targets and maintaining customer satisfaction
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as a minimum qualification
  • One to two years of post-qualification experience preferred
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • A committed attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work in a demanding environment
  • Motivation to meet and exceed targets
  • MOT Smart Card and experience with diagnostics, electronics, or light commercial vehicles are advantageous but not essential
