We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Bodyshop Technician to join a leading accident repair group covering Swansea and the South Wales region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to work with a reputable company on a large fleet contract, providing high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs on a mobile basis.
Our client offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, with additional overtime opportunities. The role operates Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours tailored to the workload. The successful Mobile Bodyshop Technician will benefit from a fully equipped company van, fuel allowance, and a range of employee benefits including private healthcare, pension scheme, retail discounts, and holiday entitlement which increases over time.
MobileBodyshop Technician duties include:
- Visiting customer locations throughout Swansea and the surrounding area to carry out cosmetic vehicle repairs
- Performing repairs such as bumper scuffs, alloy wheel repairs, small paint touch‑ups, and minor dent remedial work
- Ensuring first‑time fix philosophy to maximise customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Managing repairs independently with minimal supervision
- Maintaining a professional rapport with customers and clients on-site
- Adhering to health and safety protocols and company procedures
- Completing all repair work to the highest quality standards
- Proven experience as a Vehicle SMART Repair Technician or related automotive accident repair role, mobile or workshop‑based
- Skills in vehicle re‑spraying, filling, prepping, and cosmetic repairs
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive, self‑motivated approach
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- A valid UK driving licence
- The ability to work independently and efficiently
- Salary up to £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience
