Electrician

Location: Poole
Salary: 38,000- 48,000 per year
Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for a qualified Solar PV Electrician to join a growing solar PV operation based in Poole. This is a key role within the business, with the opportunity to be involved from an early stage.

As the solar side of the business develops, there is a clear pathway for this role to progress into a senior or management position.

Solar PV and Battery Storage training will be fully funded, with ongoing development and career progression.

• Installing solar PV systems, including DC cabling, inverters, AC connections, and system integration
• Testing, inspecting, and commissioning systems to BS 7671 and MCS standards
• Completing electrical certificates and MCS handover documents
• Liaising with Building Control and relevant authorities
• Fault finding, maintenance, and performance testing
• Working with roofing and project teams to ensure smooth installations
• Following health and safety requirements on site

• Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
• Understanding of DNO (G98/G99) and Building Control processes
• Good attention to detail and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
