Installation Operative

Talent Guardian are recruiting for an experienced, dedicated, Installation Operative on behalf of our client based in Poole, Dorset.

Location:

UK-wide projects - transport provided to each location

Hours:

Monday to Friday - start and finish times vary depending on the project

Contract:

Temp-to-Perm
Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

The Role:

As an Installation Operative, your duties will include:
 
Moving and positioning office furniture
Installing and assembling desks, chairs, panels and other office furniture
Loading and unloading furniture and equipment
Assisting with setting up offices and work spaces
Working as part of an installation team to complete projects efficiently
Travelling to different client sites across the UK
General hands-on duties as required on each project  You will be driven to each project location, so you will not be expected to make your own way to sites around the UK.

Working Hours:

This is a Monday to Friday position; however, flexibility is essential as working hours vary depending on the project.
 
Typical shifts could include:
 
5:00am - 1:00pm
7:00am - 2:00pm
8:00am - 6:00pm  What We're Looking For
 
Physically capable and comfortable lifting and moving light furniture
Reliable and punctual, particularly for early morning starts
Comfortable travelling to different locations throughout the UK
Happy working varied hours depending on the day's project
Practical and willing to get stuck in
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Previous installation, removals, warehouse, furniture assembly or similar experience would be beneficial  This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a long-term, hands-on position with varied working locations and projects, with the opportunity to become permanent
