The role
You will carry out domestic electrical work in social housing properties across Poole and Dorset, working independently and dealing directly with tenants. Work includes:
* Fault finding and repair
* Full and partial rewires
* Consumer unit changes
* Replacing sockets, lighting and fittings
* Installing smoke and CO alarms
* EICR remedial works
* Testing, certification and completing all required paperwork
Jobs include void properties, planned and responsive maintenance and disrepair works.
What we are looking for
Essential
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical installation
* 18th Edition (BS 7671) - current
* Valid ECS/JIB card
* Experience in domestic or social housing electrical work
* Full UK driving licence and your own transport
* Good communication skills and a respectful approach with tenants
* Able to work independently and complete paperwork and certificates accurately
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check, which may be required
Desirable
* Inspection and Testing qualification (2391)
