Responsibilities- Performing dental hygiene procedures, such as dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, and fluoride treatments.
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
- Taking digital dental x-rays and assisting the dentist in treatment planning.
- Conducting oral cancer screenings and documenting patient medical histories.
- Administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as required.
- Collaborating with the dental team to ensure efficient and smooth patient flow.
- Utilizing the latest dental technologies, including intraoral cameras, digital charting systems, and laser treatments.
- Maintaining strict infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Staying updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene and continuing education opportunities.
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
- Proficiency in using dental software and digital imaging systems.
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, oral anatomy, and oral health.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to educate and motivate patients.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
- A positive attitude, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care.
- Four work days a week.
